Dino Coppola has 23 years of successful investment experience resulting in solid relationships in the hedge fund community and with a broad spectrum of specialty asset originators, lenders and distribution channels.
Dino’s career in investment management started in the New York headquarters for Kidder, Peabody and Company through two mergers becoming UBS, gaining extensive exposure to all facets of the investment business. In 2005, he established Alternative Finance Management, LLC which specializes in the monetization of niche, non-commoditized financial assets. With a truly unique perspective as both lender and investor, Dino has performed due diligence on a myriad of hedge fund and structured finance transactions. Over the past five years Dino has grown and operates a group of financial entities tailored specifically to the acquisition of the distressed real estate and related assets namely NPLs.
Dino joined Montecillo in 2014 as Managing Director located in New York City and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Dino holds a B.S. in Finance at Bentley University in Massachusetts, and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. He also authored the white paper for expert testimony called “Expert Opinion Concerning the Asset Based Lending Hedge Fund Industry as of 2008.”
